Peru and Mexico are the destination countries for 2015! In May through July I will be in Peru running the Upper Amazon. In July I will return home to start preparing for river trips in Mexico. In August and September you will find Neil and I on rivers together; we will be leading some trips together in Mexico. There is a wide range of adventures you can join, some are cost-shared, exploratory expeditions where trip participants must be experienced, capable of self-support, and willing to do what needs done in order to make it down the river, even if it involves a strenuous portage! Other trips are escorted and a little mellower (Rio Aros/Yaqui) with wide open class II to III rapids. There is one trip where we are experimenting with the option of returning to the put-in via horse pack (Lower Sirupa/Upper Aros), this is a cost shared exploratory. Check out the Join a Trip! tab. I hope you can join us in our adventures for 2015. If you have never thought of whitewater boating in Mexico, check out the many posts on my Trip Reports tab.

What river expeditions do you have planned in Nov? I am a hard shell kayaker and looking for an adventure. Taking a year off from the Grand. : )
Not sure where I will be in November, could be southern Mexico, Guatemala or possible Peru. Stay tuned.
